Hello Mu Cang Chai Homestay is an ethnic minority Hmong and family owned homestay based in the beautiful northeastern mountainous highlands of Mù Cang Chải, Vietnam.
The district is located at the foot of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, at an altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level. The area is home to the famous Mu Cang Chai rice terrace fields which are recognized as national landscapes by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and are hosts to many amazing Yen Bai festivals.
Hello Mu Cang Chai Homestay is committed to making a profound difference for the local community by Preserving the culture of the Hmong; Providing viable tourism that sustains the ecology; and Becoming a recognized provider of effective community growth.
We are very proud to be one of the few Hmong businesses that exist in this region, and one that is entirely owned and operated by Hmong.
We understand that this is an important achievement because ethnic minority Hmong face much greater levels of poverty and barriers to accessing capital and business support. Responsible tourism to our region provides us with critical opportunities to earn sustainable income, in turn helping our families and communities flourish.
